The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Rolling Stones, Cream, The Beatles, The Cribs, Black Sabbath, The Allman Brothers Band, The Libertines, Magazine, Orange Juice, The Names, The Organ, many, many, more.
Popular or common jazz groupings aren't really "bands", but of course I enjoy groupings such as the Chick Corea Elektric Band, both of the major Miles Davis Quintets, any jazz trio involving guitar, organ, and drums, and perhaps my favourite grouping includes the Toronto-based powerhouse of Reg Schwager (g), Mike Murley (s), Steve Wallace (b), and if we're lucky enough, Barry Elmes (d).
Favorite guitarists :
Johnny Marr, Reg Schwager, Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, Alan Murphy, Eric Clapton and Scott Henderson.
Favorite bassists :
Andy Rourke, John Pattituci, Stanley Clarke, Tetsuo Sakurai.
Favorite books :
"Morrissey & Marr" by Johnny Rogan.
Favorite tv :
Durham County.
Favorite movies :
I have many, but my favourite films are generally giallo thrillers from Italy.
