My thing is, if a band creates their own sound, they're good in my book.

Don't get me wrong, I really like their sound, and they seem like incredibly talented individuals...the technicality of it really makes for an enjoyable listen. I just feel like I'm missing something. What makes this album "the end all, be all, the shit" . They're a cool band but I can't see myself listening to this album again and again. What am I missing??
