Sorry took so long to answer.

I've had some problems with mine. The "B" string rattlles like crazy. IDK if it's not seated well in the bridge or the nut slot is cut too low. I had the dealer send it back to the manufacturer and they filed the 14th fret down, but it didn't do shit. It still rattles. I love the guitar, but for that problem. I've got the one with the sunburst finish and the Seymour Duncans in it. I'm going to email the manufacturer.

Well the F# test was done with only a .56 gauge string, the intonation was completely thrown hence the simplicity of the riff. But the 8 string i have uses an .80 gauge, essentially a bass string.

How are things over there? My dad fought over there first time round.

yeah i checked out the xiphos and i really liked it but im just gonna redo any 7 string i get anyways so i figured id just get like an rg7321 and trick it out. but i also thought the xiphos was smashed into the ground by the jeff loomis guitar

Ha you have great taste in guitars lol, the schecters a beast too and i personally prefer blackouts to EMGS, just a more organic tone with a better clean. The deans ok I got it cause it was a half off sale but it has really good action, looks cool, and sounds pretty good, next up for me is an M-II and ibanez 7, maybe a modded jay turser LP copy.
