almost done here. cant freaking wait. bought about 5k worth of guitars here and also got my mesa roadster. cant wait to play on that. have the new alienware on the way as well. world of warcrack here i come...again. games bad ass. but yeah. had a shitty time out here but im almost done. things could always be worse. cant wait to drink a beer and ill drink some for all of the UG'rs as well. take care peeps and godbless!
finally about 6 weeks away from going back home. i cant wait. my tour in iraq hasnt been bad. i came with a good group so that always helps matters. i am ready for normal life again and the freedom to drink a fucking beer. thats always nice. i get 2 weeks off when i get back so im just going to chill and play wows new expansion WRATH OF THE LICH KING... get some.... i know what your thinking. how could suck a good looking guy play that game. what can i say! its what i do.... but anyways. yeah when i get back i will be able to start posting more stuff on my profile and possibly get myspace going again. looking forward to that. till then i just keep praying ill stay safe and the days will keep ticking away. wish me luck!
not sure where this came from but right now im hella bored and me and some of my co-workers that im deployed here in baghdad with have been talking and we have all come to realize that the human body can really get used to anything. whether it be single, lonely, life or abusing booze every single night and not thinking twice about asking for help when you know you need it.
before coming here i was worried about it because i didnt know what to expect and on the news, you always hear about the war stories. then you get hear. at first it might shake you a bit but then you get used to it. you just dont care. now me and my buddies here will walk home or go to get chow and here shit go off and not even notice it. we get so bored here we wish something would happen. its ironic because we will hear things go off or explosions and wonder what it was. then the very next day on the news we find it was a car bomb or suicide bombers. people dying and we dont just register it as that. how ironic. the very thing i was afraid of. why is this? who knows. not i. things could for sure be a lot worse for me than they are. i really wish people at home (states) would realize everything people do here and what they give up for it. i have seen many a soldier take his last plane home and he wont be walking off like he did when he got here. peoples children every day are dying for this war and i give them mad props. america is absolutly amazing and there is nothing more beautiful than life itself. i wish everyone could appreciate it more and see what some of these guys go through.
once again not sure where i was going with that but im thankful to be here and honored knowing that the choices my military brothers and i have made keep our families sleeping sound night to night. Support the troops...

how many of you like me have been playing some of your own original work in front of people that dont play music what so ever and they are like... "Meh" not to bad. you can throw in sweep picking and crazy string skipping. blazing fretboard runs and nothing catches their ear. then your just sitting there doing what ever playing Down by 311 and everyone is like "holy shit dude.... you can play 311? thats bad ass. your alot better than i thought" i hate that crap. i think that is so funny. you skills are null void when it comes to the common dude that doesnt play. but damn it if you can play some ACDC then you have to be the greatest guitarist ever. i think that is why i get so nervous when it comes to playing in front of people. i want them to see the skills that i have developed over the last 8 years and some change but it always seems you have to make it simple so they can enjoy it. that was another huge writers block i had a few years ago because i wanted everything to be so technical but in reality alot of the great sounding stuff is mad easy. take in flames for instance. damn near everyone of there songs either open third 5th or 8th fret in some variation but it sounds bad ass. killswitch engage is another band like that. in reality i guess alot of bands are. anyways. alot of things such as playing in front of other is assbackwards. the easy stuff is what they want. they dont appreciate originality or technique. i just dont get it.

woo hoo. pretty stoked that i have my new git fiddle on the way. i first seen that black satin finish on some In Flames video and loved it but didnt want a gibson. i seen this puppy and fell in love. im new to the whole LP style but i love the feel of it. this will be my third one. i had a Mh-1000 deluxe and that thing played amazing and sounded great the the duncans but like a fool i sold it. so im really excited about getting this one. for all those who havent heard of them, Drumcityguitarland.com is the absolute best place to order guitars from. they set them up to your specs with string gauge and tuning and throw in a free strap, shirt, pics, and strings with every purchase. i have never have better service so look them up. they have a huge selection of guitars as well. well thats it for now.
So im on this new LP kick right? not sure what the deal is because i have always been against mainstream. if something was popular i just hated it. still like that and thats the way that i have always fealt towards fenders and gibsons and shit. well anyways been playing around with a few and im really digging the sounds that you can get out of them. kinda upset that i just got my new prophecy and there are some minor flaws in it. fucking epiphone sux hardcore. i should have listened and not messed around with buying one. i think my next git-fiddle is going to be the LTD EC-1000 deluxe. i like that black satin one with the EMG's but i Loveeee the duncans as well. not sure which one im going to get. its driving me nuts. maybe one of each. anyways.... we will see how that pans out..... anyone wanna buy the new epiphone prophecy.... lol
