Well, i know you like Ibanez, and they're definitely up by the top for 7s. I also really love the feel of Schecter 7s. If you're looking for a 7 for under 300 bucks, then a Washburn WG-587 (what I have) or Dean Vendetta 7 are your only real options. But if your budget is up closer to a thousand, then your options really open up. The C7 I'm looking at is 750 at my local GC.

Dude, having a 7 is fucking awesome, trust me. I'm also in the works for one (or rather, another). I'm gonna go for a Schecter C7 Hellraiser, since I love the way it sounds and plays. I'm gonna swap out the EMGs, though.

Interesting, I was more into mathcore and then expanded to black metal. It was one of the last forms of extreme metal that I got used to, except for grindcore.
Mathcore is still my favorite genre regardless.

I wanted to know what would be a couple good BM songs to learn (to increase my sonic pallete).
