Looks like I'm coming up on 7 years here. Craziness-- this website has been a part of my life for more than a third of it.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all of the people here who have been helpful over this whole time. When I started here I had no idea what I was doing. Now I'm working on a music minor in college, studying guitar building with a luthier, and working 2 different gigs as a guitar teacher.
With each step in my development as a musician I've come back here when I had questions and there have always been people who were very helpful in every section. Hopefully in another 7 years I'll still be on here once in a while!
Anyway, I just wanted to remind everyone that you've got a great resource at your fingertips here. There's always someone who knows more than you around, so make use of the knowledge at hand!

Yeah mate, it has certainly been a while!! We keep coming back here for different reasons (you as a muso, me just to cause trouble when I'm bored/drunk) but you are right, this place really has become a part of even my life.
We've seen many people come and go, and while we were probably all in different 'groups' back in the peak of our UG days (and some of us maybe didn't even get along!!) a old school UG username always sticks out to me like a sore thumb and I give unconditional respect.
I wonder how many others are still around or just come back irregularly? I caught JDawg the other day, haven't seen many others though. Might be worth starting an old school UG'er group or something haha.
