Has it ever occured to anyone who is just beginning that it can actually make you feel bad to hang around those who have been playing for years? I have alot of those friends, and you know, it kinda sucks. Everyone is like, oh, you'll get better. Then, you play, and it's embarrassing. I know. But what they say is actually true. I was playing really crappy bluegrass songs to start out, and I only knew 4 chords. But i hung out with my friends when they played. I watched, learned, and attempted to play along, and NEVER GAVE UP. I've gotten better and better. Perseverence counts with guitar.
