I am a self-taught guitarist that loves all types of music. Being a Multi-instrumentalist, and music fanatic, I believe that it is important for a musician to appreciate as many types of music as he can. While I play everything, the two styles that I am (currently) enjoying the most are Funk and Blues. Blues and Funk are the rawest forms of emotion that I have ever heard, but they express their soul in completely different ways.
I am proud to say that I use all my fingers, including pinky, when playing fingerstyle, and while it is not "correct" I love it and it is much more natural to me, even though I can play it the "correct" way if needed.
I am working toward being a professional Luthier. For those who don't know what that means, a Luthier is a person who builds (as well as repairs, fixes, adjusts, and modifies) string instruments. Right now I am mainly doing repair work, because the tools required to actually build are expensive as hell, but I am working on it and hope to soon make my first electric, then a hollow body, and then an acoustic.
