RUNAMOK

RUNAMOK was founded in the summer of 2003 by Fabian Schwarz, a workaholic guitarist/vocalist, previously a member of the Teutonic Heavy Metal legends STORMWITCH.

Fabian formed RUNAMOK in humble homage to the celebrated Old-Skool-Thrash, and Classic Metal bands, such as METALLICA, MEGADETH and ANVIL, or at least to the type of music these guys played during their halcyon days. Fans of ANNIHILATOR or PANTERA will equally enjoy the "take-no-prisoners" sonic assault of this Thrash combo from Würzburg, Germany.

Alongside Schwarz you'll detect another "dyed-in-Metal" veteran: co-founder and second axe-wielder Oli Kaufmann, previously with TYRAN PACE and VINDER. The rhythm section consists of drummer Chris Weiss (ex-PARADOX), bass player Dominik Schwarz (like his brother Fabian a former member of STORMWITCH). Lead vocalist Michael Imhof (ex-FINAL BREATH), completes the line-up.

Their debut self-released "Make My Day" garnered sufficient interest from the media and fans alike for the Metal Axe label to take notice and release their second effort "Back For Revenge".
Besides some powerful self-penned tracks this album is also remembered for "Looks That Kill", the MÖTLEY CRÜE classic which RUNAMOK transformed into a Thrash Anthem. July 2005 marked the release of their third album, "Dance Of The Dead".

End of November RUNAMOK will release their latest and finest to date: "Freak Business". Once again RUNAMOK have not attempted to re-invent the wheel nor did they seek to be awarded the Nobel Prize for originality. They did however perform and record simply the best and most exciting Classic Thrash music available today. No rocket science - just Thrash!
