Dookie92 wrote on Aug 7th, 2009 9:50amHey man, your the same age as me, so your going to uni soon right? I noticed you posted in a thread about jazz and said you were going to be doing music education and jazz studies at University (something like that if I remember correctly). Thats pretty much the exact same thing I have on my mind at the moment.
Just wondering, what school you gonna study at? quote |
Mark G wrote on Dec 12th, 2008 10:15pmSup dude, still loving your B-52? I sold mine a while back in favor of an ENGL Blackmore, very different sound.
I added some playing skill mp3s to my profile, could you please give them a rating? Would appreciate it quote |

JilaX^ wrote on Feb 14th, 2008 2:54pmHey dude, I saw your comment on that dues Stormy Monday tab, and I was wondering. Is it a standard twelve bar in the key of key? Straight out with major chords, or is there like G7 or Gmaj7 there? quote |
WrathOscuro wrote on Nov 4th, 2007 1:01pmI also have the same amp, only I have the 212 version. You also have to take into consideration that Mark uses really thick strings, and has EMG's in his guitar. quote |
Mark G wrote on Oct 26th, 2007 10:48amAlright here are the settings I normally use:
Gain: 70%
Low: 70%
Middle: 60%
High: 75%
Contour: 60%
Low resonance: 75%
As you can see, I don't cut my mids. I simply boost them a little less than I boost my lows and highs.
I also use a digitech Bad Monkey OD pedal:
Level: 100%
Low: 60%
High: 40%
Gain: 0%
If you dont have an OD, you would probably have the amp set up more like this:
Gain: 100%
Low: 80%
Middle: 60%
High: 60%
Contour: 60%
Low res: 80%
Hope this helps! quote |
