6 years on guitar, completely self-taught,and fairly skilled.I play a lot of progressive metal and rock but touch on blues and classical when the urge hits me.
I keep a very open mind with music and I'm always open to hear other musicians opinions and thoughts on things.I may have only 6 years under my belt but I know a good deal about guitars and music,if I post in your threads expect it to be at least relevant if not helpful.
I like thin necks and high output passive pups,so it's no surprise that I tend to play instruments from companies like Ibanez and Jackson.I dabble in bass and piano, and play the drums when there is a need for it.I'm currently looking into getting an advanced education in the music field, possibly at Berkley.
Right now I'm trying to start a progressive/experimental metal project, but we're still missing a good rhythm guitarist and a vocalist with the singing range that we're looking for.....meh.I'm currently covering guitar/back up vocals for my Dads classic rock/blues band because their rhythm player got his hand and arm broken by a mechanical press at work.I'd put some sound clips up but between work, school,my musical projects, and everything else,I just don't have the time or money to invest in some decent recording equipment.
