Check out the band on my page called "Giant Robot Heart Transplant".
I just uploaded some new music that I think you'll enjoy.

1. The word is "allowed"
2. Jordan and For Mom are copyrighted works of Buckethead. Unless you are the legal owner or you have gotten the permission from the legal owner, you are not allowed to upload Buckethead's songs :/

Dude it's illegal to upload other artists songs to UG :/

I've played guitar seriously for about 3 and a half years.
And yes, I put a kill switch in my guitar.

And as proof that you can shred, you need to get a few songs up there that are your own original work. Not Buckethead's. "For Mom" is cool, but if you want to impress people, get some shredding up there. Otherwise you look like a bit of a poser.

I appreciate the comment and wish you luck with your own guitar playing - but tread carefully in your comments on people's work. Constructive criticism is always better than saying "I can do it better" and bragging.

"It was good but I can't tell you it was a master peice because I can do that better, and I'm twelwe. But I don't wanna act like an idiot, because it was good."

Dude I would never say it's a masterpiece. Did you listen to the whole thing though? lol Some of it's not easy - admittedly, the first half of it and the ending (I think, I haven't heard this in a while) are pretty simple. But there's one riff that most people can't play. The point I'm trying to make, and not succeeding at making, is that you shouldn't say you can ever play somebody's original work better than they can because a) you don't know how to play the song and probably can't figure it out by ear after playing for only two years and b) it makes you look like a jerk, although I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not. The other thing is that it's original - there's nobody that can play any song better than its original author; it's a general rule of thumb.

"It sound like some thing you made on a keybord because the guitar has the exact same sound in every note and there is nothing played in this song so it makes me wonder..."

I don't really know what your saying, the guitar changes notes, I'm using tremelo picking and I guess you just cant hear it changing, and it's not a song, it is just one riff, admittedly repeated too much, but I only did that because I was trying a new method of recording and I tried to make that one riff sound like a song by adding different dynamics and the keyboard and drums, but thanks for the comment, it is appreciated.

i think its important to be comfy with a guitar, so if you like it, then go for it, you'd never feel fully comfy with a guitar you didn't want.

as for the bands thing - heres a few vids with them in

doug aldrich - whitesnake/ dio/ bad moon rising

brian may - queen and brian may band

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tHmalN6za8 - this is a cover of brian but its pretty much spot on

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHnrLc6KGFE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DdAwsOQE0c

bernie torme - ian gillan/ gmt
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z57eHhPbMss

none of them are exactly guitar gods, but each one is a hero of mine for one reason or another.

ah - the one in your picture? it looks like a dinky yeah. if i was to go for a new one i'd probably get that one. but kellys are awesome looking things, its worth trying. i think the only thing is, when you practice for ages every day, you start to get irritated pretty quick by lack of balance in a guitar and things.

and in answer to your questions - i have a few guitar heroes - but my main three are brian may, bernie torme and doug aldrich

an rr3 is a jackson randy rhodes style v - looks like a v with a shorter wing

and i'll add you to my friends and if you just accept it should work

thats a good choice of guitar heroes, metallica rock and malmsteen is brilliant!

anyway, i play lots of stuff to be honest, but mostly its hard rock derived from blues (guns/ acdc/ aerosmith/ gillan) you know - just stuff i suppose - that said, these days i do lots of rhythmy stuff too, you can make awesome solos hammering on and pulling off chords.

o, and the jackson kelly - it looks great but theres a few downsides that not many people mention - when standing, its totally neck heavy since theres no upper horn on the right hand side to balance it, when sitting down it can be neck or body heavy depending on how your sitting - its also not so comfy to play as its not really got anywhere to rest your picking hand. its also a bastard to find a case for - hard cases are very heavy to move about for a long time, and gig bags are usually to big so they do nothing to protect it (when you finally find one)

its very pretty though, but if i was going to buy a new jackson - id go for the dinky

yo dude, thanks for joining the hard rock group, ive put down a few posts for you to have a gander at in case your interested, or you can do your own or anything.

read your guitar life story - sounds pretty cool. what type of stuff do you play? iron maiden sorts of metal/ hair metal/ etc?

and i wish you the best of luck with the worlds greatest guitarist thing - thats my dream as well, so it looks like were in competition, but if you ever need any help then don't hesitate to ask, and i hope i can do the same eh? i think only by teaching each other do people actually get better - like hendrix - i dont like him, but if he hadn't done what he'd done, then people wouldn't have been able to learn from him and then build on it and be good guitarists

look forward to you posting
