Hi, I'm some asshole from Texas who hopes to learn guitar. I'll probably never use this website as often as I'd like to, but hey, there's more to the world than the internet. As much as I hate to sound like one of those loud-mouthed, arrogant atheists (coughAMAZINGATHEISTcough), I cannot write a piece about myself without mentioning my dislike of religion. Seriously, there's no point to it other than to throw money into the wallets of pedophlies and bigots. I'm not an atheist myself, I just think religion is about as useful as a toy knife in a gunfight (ie; I'm agnostic). My favorite music is anything within the realms of melodic death metal and techincal death metal, being some of my favorites include Dying Fetus, Arsis, Atheist, Into Eternity, and Mors Principium Est (although I do not limit myself to such artists).
I try to diversify my taste in music, so you won't find any closed-minded, elitist, bigot, overbiased attitudes here! One day, I might listen to Pink Floyd, the next day some Carcass, the next some NWA, the next some Bass Hunter, the next some Sublime and the cycle goes on. If you don't explore the field of music, you usually don't get to enjoy things to the fullest, which is why it also helps to try and understand how things work and why things are the way they are. In essence, I don't judge people by their opinions, but rather their virtues and vices. Even if you disagree with me on things like music, I'm sure we could get along some how
I own two guitars; a black Aria that is a strat-knock-off and a white guitar that I cannot confirm the brand name due to lack of a logo on ANY part of the guitar, not even the headstock (although the Jackson-esque shape of the headstock leads me to believe it is an old Charvel). I plan on customizing these guitars with new parts, as they have been utterly deconstructed.
A seven-string Jackson Randy Rhoads w/ a Floyd Rose would be my dream guitar, even if Jackson sucks now because they got bought out by Fender.
If you wish to know more, the last thing you should do is hesitate to ask me. I'm perfectly willing to answer any and all questions.
