Smoker : No

Favorite bands :
The Who, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Blue Цyster Cult, Cake, Death Cab for Cutie, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Pantera, Tenacious D and Dethklok (both are funny as hell), Wolfmother, and ZZ Top. My top favorites vary with my mood.
I'm also starting to like Black Stone Cherry and Trivium, but I don't have any of their songs.
Favorite guitarists :
Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo Batio, Rodrigo Sбnchez y Gabriela Quintero, and Jimmy Page. But my absolute favorite is Hendrix, and not just for his skill. He was a really cool guy! I want to be just like him (y'know, sans the drug abuse and early grave n' such).
Favorite bassists :
I've never been particularly interested in bassists, but I've seen some of Billy Sheehan's stuff and I thought it was amazing.
Favorite books :
I'm 15; I don't always have the patience for whole books. When I read it's mostly articles on the Internet, poems and short stories. Anything by Edgar Allen Poe -- I recently re-read Rip Van Winkle and thought it was a fun read -- not much else really.
I remember enjoying Tuesdays With Morrie and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, though.
Favorite tv :
House is basically the only show I watch anymore.
Favorite movies :
Across the Universe (I just saw it and loved it), O' Brother Where Art Though?, 300 -- we've had Netflix since it came out and I see like a billion movies a month, so I don't really remember if I like a lot of the movies I've seen.
And that independent film "Brick", I like that one.
I'm a (very) fledgling guitarist -- in fact, I don't know a terrible lot about music. I'm a writer (that is, I write well -- as I've heard, anyway) and have never been the most adroit musician. I was in various choral groups (school and church) and that pretty much bred me to hate music all together. But since I've started listening to more kinds of music and since I've seen so many of my friends playing guitar, I have decided to give it another shot. Guitar is fun and challenging (sometimes more the latter than the former) and I'm making lots of new friends playing in the guitar club run out of my history teacher's classroom after school.
