It's not quie correct, it's missing a few, but I just copy it off my MySpace profile. Do I really need such a long list of bands? Doesn't it look like I'm showing off? Is there any point?
Well.. yes, I guess. I'm good at forgetting which bands I like that I don't own any music to, plus I like having a long band list.
My sister criticises it, saying "Can you actually name any songs of every band in that list, and say anything about them?". Well actually I can, but I'll save that for another blog (it would probably take hours!).
Well, I bend the strings with only one or two fingers, mainly with my third/ring finger.
My guitar teacher has now told me to use all 3 or 4 fingers while bending, as that is best. I don't know why though, I was doing just fine with the one ring finger!
My fingers have a mind of their own, which is an unintelligent mind unfortunately. My little finger likes to partially pop out of place every-so-often while practicing.
Oh well. I guess it's best to deal with these things before they become more of a problem later on in life.
I'm learning 'Angie' by Bert Jansch now (it's not an original, sadly). I never knew that it was all played on just the one guitar!!
Hmm, my guitar teacher is off for 6 weeks, so I have no lessons for 6 weeks, which suxx woman-cock.
Unless I go to where my dad goes, but that doesn't sound too fun.
YAYY!!! I get to teach a neighbour the guitar!! She's about 8 years old i think and is interested in learning how to play, but i think i've been asked to teach her because her parents don't want to spend money on lessons in case she ends up quitting. I get extra pocket money for this too, which is good 'coz atm its £1 a week . Teaching someone should hopefully make me more motivated to play as i now have to be very good!!
My Guitar strings are knackered! As soon as I tune them, they sharpen ! And my Dad is away til Thursday so no1 can change them. I dont know how to change them .
Well, I've had the motivation to practice my guitar so i did! Im practicing changing position in bar chords. Just started doing grades. No idea what grade im at now. It's hard to practice, do my homework and do coursework. very hard. had to do homework today in form. Ah well, it was just R.E.
