Hey Nec! If you get an influx of visitors it is because I'm posting some of your clips all over the place. :haha

Okaaaay.. top five favorite non-metal albums of all time GO! I really need some music that isn't classic rock or covered in flannel. I'm expanding my horizons, and heading into the metal horizon did NOT work, as you know :P

Sounds Good Bro. Turn down the backing track though, I can't tell where your playing sometimes.

Really? Isn't that a good thing though? :p:

I can hear myself playing perfectly though. Maybe you just thought it was the original song because I'm that awesome? xD
I'll try again tomorrow with a quieter backing track.

Carol of the Bells is good stuff man. Looks like no one rated it so i'm giving you 5. New Acousitic Song was good too, how did you record that, was that thru VK?

Thanks a lot

Yep that was through the VK with the DD-7's Mod Delay.

As far as all time? hmm.......... that's really tough. But I'll try and give you some stuff that is accesible and a mix of new and old.

Metallica - Master of Puppets (Arguably the Greatest Album of all time)

Arch Enemy - Rise of the Tyrant (I already know you love there solos)

Killswitch Engage - As Daylight Dies (Good Introduction to Modern Metal, very melodic and not too heavy, but pure awesome)

I wanna stress As Daylight Dies by Killswitch Engage because it's a great introduction to heavier music but it has great singing and a softer side too.

 Thanks man!

Well I've only just started but It seems to be working. In just two days I've learned to read staff, all the notes on the fretboard, constructing all the major scales and all the intervals.

Jeez you're dedicated! Between school and work and everything it's hard fir me to find more than an hour to play a day...

So sometimes the math homework falls by the wayside... Haha

well, you don't have to take the tags out of all of them, i doubt they are very big bit wise. I'm just trying to figure out why yours always hang. I'll try it again.

maybe on your next one, put no tags on it and lets see what happens. Basically, when you announce you have a new clip I just wait until later because I know for a fact if there are too many people listening at once it freezes up. I think you posting these in Riffs and Recordings too, so maybe you just get more traffic.

Music Theory Workbook for Guitar Volume 1 and 2. Freakin Massive books. Both are like 300 pages of excercises.

That sounds like what I need, I've been having issues getting decent lessons online. They've helped lots though?

I got all the intervals memorized now. The second book in the series is all about scale construction and application. That's what I'm stoked to learn about. Gonna write some sexy solos with that stuff.

Cant wait to hear em!!
what books are you using?

Good. I got all the notes on the fretboard down and can write out the notes in staff. Just trying to remember all the intervals.

Yeah, once you've got the notes down, you're good. I need to learn my scales...
