This list goes all over, but big ones include Metallica, Megadeth, Pillar, Skillet, Demon Hunter, Dream Theater/LTE, and Flyleaf. I have a somewhat abnormal musical background.

Joe Satriani, Al Pitrelli, Kirk Hammett(hey, he's got style), John Butler, John Petrucci, and a few more nobody has heard of.

Cliff Borton, John Myung, John Entwistle, Pat Seals(Flyleaf), others..

I like fantasy/sci-fi books, but I can't stand LOTR or Star Trek...Dune is one of my favorites, as well as anything by Carol Berg
