I, as all of you here on UG, am obsessed with music... I am a self taught guitarist, and pianist and spend the majority of my time either playing guitar, piano, or writing. Music is the one thing I feel I have truly discovered. Any instrument I have in my hands just seems to fit and without this feeling, I don't know where I would be today.Maynard James Keenan is my hero because of his music and the way he's inspired me. I feel like I have a true connection with Tool's music as it has uplifted me from depression and sincerely changed my outlook on life. John Lennon is also my hero because of the way he lived during the later part of his life. Thom Yorke is God as well, his songs are some of the most well-written and best-performed ever. I think he is the greatest living songwriter and if I ever saw him live with Radiohead, I would surely weep openly. If I were able to create a reflection of myself in anyone, I would hope that these three people best suit the person I am and I can portray myself as a peaceful person who wishes to express himself and inspire others through his art and music.
