Im well into Groove based playing, from band perspective as well as guitar, not into shredders at all, to many muso ponces think theyre bad ass with there sweepin bullshit, no sense of tone, or feel! i hate that crap with a passion.
There are a few exceptions, randy rhoads, mark tremonti, richie blackmoore...
I play a 62' re issue fender strat, fender tele standard, thru a big muff, jd wah into a marshall(which is going soon, i dont like it!)
