Wouldn't be Thrash? Come on, oh Metallica fanboy, do you know a band called Exodus? They were formed before Metallica, Hammet played in that band before joining Metallica, and Exodus are still playing Thrash Metal, unlike Metallica. Band like Exodus created Thrash Metal, not Metallica. Also, in Germany: Sodom, Kreator, Destruction... Bands that have influenced many Thrash and Death Metal bands, and they are also all still playing Thrash. And many Thrash bands like Slayer and others were formed almost at the same time with Metallica. Metallica was just one of those bands that created Thrash Metal, but they just got more popular than the others after their Thrash years when they released Black Album. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Metallica didn't create Thrash.
