About Mr. B.
Unfortunately my serious musical journey was started because of Guitar Hero. In fourth grade I started to play violin, but quit because I was tired of plucking Mary had a little lamb. Then in fifth grade I joined the school band class and played the snare drum. And I was pretty good. Then when I went into 6th grade I went to a different type of school that didn't have a music program (or anything of that sort), so they would bus us off to the near middle school that did. The problem was that we went in with the advanced group and I was just a beginner. It was impossible to keep up with this group so after another year and a half I quit. While there I learned about timing and how to read notes and that fun stuff. It wasn't until my freshman year in high school that I was interested in music again. Like I said though, it was guitar hero II. After playing through the songs one summer day I came across the coolest song in the game, Jordan by Buckethead. After a while I was reading a wishlist of songs for Guitar Hero III and in it they said that they would like the "always great Buckethead". I was then intrigued enough with both the name and the fact that he was really good to go look him up. I was super impressed. The song that really got me into him was Welcome to Bucketheadland. He inspired me to pick up a real guitar and here I am almost two years later. Since picking up guitar I have stopped playing guitar hero and rock band (now I hate them) and sold my Xbox (which was a huge deal for my family because I used to be a huge video game junkie).
