About Monster Bassist
I've been playing bass for 16 years now, and guitar for 13. I like every type of music, and want to play in a band/act of every type before I die, even if it's just as a guest musician. My biggest influences musically so far would be Dir En Grey, they just have an ability to play almost any type of music (metal, hardcore, ballad, instrumental) and I have a deep respect for that and Slipknot, especially after the tragic loss of Mr Gray, no band, in my opinion, could have done anything more respectable than to pay tribute to one of their brothers and not go out in search of a "replacement" but instead bring out a "ghost from the past" and have someone familiar with the band and it's internal workings attempt to fill the shoes of one of the greatest metal bass players of our time. RIP Paul, this world will never be the same without you.
