In the review I mentioned that if you ever did apply distortion, the guitar could handle it well, due to the large P-90. It also, as a hollow body, becomes a feedback monster. But I cannot think why anyone would by a jazz guitar and put distortion on it, including myself. I've never incorperated it into any recording, although I suppose it could be a pretty cool effect.
