These guitarists have influenced me: Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads (R. I. P.), and Steve Vai.
Favorite bassists :
I don't play Bass at all. So...no favorite bassists. Except for the late Cliff Burton, whose compositions on such songs as "Orion" influenced me somewat. R. I. P., Cliff Burton.
Favorite books :
Anything by any of these guys: Soren Kirkegaard, Aristotle, J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Saint Augustine, Ted Dekker, Edgar Allen Poe, George Orwell, Stephen King; and the Bible.
Favorite tv :
Simpsons, Smallville, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Guy, Futurama
Favorite movies :
The Departed, Lucky Number Slevin, Robin Hood: Prince of Theives, James Bond, The Last Samurai, Lord of the Rings, Master and Commander: Far Side of the World, Donnie Darko, Amadeus, Sweeney Todd, and The Passion of the Christ
I can play anythin from Acoustic to Blues to Death Metal. I prefer to play Heavy Metal, particularly Thrash and Progressive Metal. I write all my own songs, both lyrics and music. Course, sometimes friends help me.
