Modding a pacifica - one of the best things I've d

I recently took it upon myself to mod by old boring beginner guitar, the good ol' Yamaha Pacifica 012.
The result have been great, as I've got the tone up to the level of any decent Strat!
Mods include:
Graphtek Nut (for hard rock sound) Lock in machine heads (Much improved tonality) Tusk string trees ( a fake type of ivory, for blues/rootsy sort of sound) Graphteck saddles A fret dress, changing the pressure points on the wires Increased string gauge ( not much of a mod :P)
The result is great, and with my zoom multi effects it sounds rockin'!
I'd reccomend these sort of mods to anyone - be it on a tele, strat or les paul style guitar.
Sha0, I think its worth it, but you may wish to adjust the mods to suit your own needs.
I did the mods of a period of time, and I recommend that you DON'T perform the fret dress on your own. Get a professional to do it.
I'm currently deciding what pickups i should put on... Any suggestions?
