Thanks, There are not a lot of high end guitars in my collection but they are all good to great guitars never the less. Many years of collecting guitars, repairing and building them I now realize you do not have to spend big money to get a quality guitar and most inexpensive guitar can be made great with just a few mods or a set of pups.

I'm just too picky with messing around with my Ibanez guitars besides the basic setup. But I'm gonna mod this one to hell and back |
That's not bad at all. You should paint the head stock when you get it. I was thinking of doing that once I order one. Paint it white as the Douglas logo is pretty blah!
So what mods do you plan on doing to it?

Almost everything on that list I wouldn't mind having And I never knew there was an RG8570 model. The 570's play like butter. The neck is shred heaven!!! | you dont have bad stuff yourself, the rg570 is so pretty. i sold my 570 just a couple of weeks ago to a friend, as a project guitar.
the 8570 is a j custom model. The neck is alot different from the 570's/1570's. But still comfy as hell to play

I sold it for $700 w/ the cab....first day I had it up there. I really didn't want to hang onto it so I really let it go to the first person who said they'd come get it =) It was kind of beat up though...it was gigged hard. Are you selling just the head or the whole half stack?

michael_1391 wrote on Jun 19th, 2009 6:59amNo, I don't use them for my recordings. I just go directly from my Boss GT-10 to the computer. But the head can easily handle a heavy handed metal drummer, I would know as my bands drummer matches this :P
Good amp for a good price. quote |

-tempest- wrote on Mar 12th, 2009 9:17pmthe program is very veristile, its the focking balls basically. the help option at the top loads a page that is super helpful if you know generally what your curious about. it helped me. i also wacthed some youtube videos to help me grap it aswell.
well if you mic the snare drum near the bottom of the drum(facing the floor) that will help. the bass drum should be mic'ed on its own as well. when you finish recording the drum track, there is an equilizer effect you can use to add bass-treble to deepen or bighten the sound. There is also a studio reverb option as well to add depth.
when you go to export a finished track go to me for instructions because its confusing. i fuck it up sometimes and i know what im doing at this point haha. quote |

-tempest- wrote on Mar 12th, 2009 12:38amits a really good program i just remastered one of my songs on it. For the usb interface i would a line 6 from musiciansfriend.com for like 70 bucks. with that you can go like this: guitar>distortion pedal/amp/mic> interface>computer(adobe) or you can go: guitar>pedal/amp/mic>mic input on your computer>computer(adobe).
the only drawback i found using adobe was every track you edit can only be sent out by burning it to a cd(that im aware of so far). i hope i can find a way around it because i can see it getting very annoying. quote |
-tempest- wrote on Mar 11th, 2009 2:25amalright i got it working. thanks a lot for all your help. if you need anyhelp with the program hit me up haha.
first thing you need to do is get an usb interface ( like a line 6 interface) from your mixer for the best quality. quote |
