I've got some lyrics in the works for a more serious country song, due to the chord progression I had been tinkering with. It's kinda like, supernatural western themed.
"There's a rider up ahead and he's coming for you
eyes on fire and a skull for a head
He's got an old revolver pointed right at you
screeching come with me or you'll be dead
The rider asked son what will it be
you could always try running for eternity
So you run and you run so far away
hoping and praying you won't be his prey
So you run and you hide and you pray the lord
dear god please won't you spare the sword"
That's all I got so far. Basically I just imagine a fugitive running away from a ghost rider with a horse in the old west for an eternity. I'll prolly add more to it later.
