Hi, my name is Dennis Teets. I'm a kid who lives in a small boring town called Port Sanilac, Michigan. Ain't nothing to do in this little town, no jobs, nothing so I decided to learn to play the guitar. I have been playing guitar since September 2008. I love making stuff like guitars and what not. You can see a picture of a few guitars I made here on UG. I live in the most boring place known to man. The only thing that keeps me sane is jamming on my guitar, and making guitars.

You can/may say I'm emo but I'm not. Emos want to die, I like to live. I didn't put nearly 20 years into this life just to go die at this early age. If you want me to die then you are in for a surprise because I'm not going away. You can try so hard to break me but everything you do will be fruitless.

I will add, I am a huge /v\ETALLIC/-\ fan, and my fav genre is Thrash. Not a fan of MD... I have my reasons and lets leave it at that. Seconding my friend KR46 on here, I think I'm one of the bigger Metallica fans (especially for my age) that you will come across. Fanboy? I think not. Diehard fan? Yes. My reasons for liking Metallica are deep, not just that I like the sound and in 2 years will stop liking them a lot. That is the difference between a diehard fan and a fanboy. I am NOT a fanboy, but a true diehard fan.

"Kirk Hammett was weaned on his older brother's extensive Hard Rock collection, which included albums by Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and U.F.O. Inspired, Hammett picked up a Montgomery Ward catalogue Guitar, hooked up with vocalist Paul Baloff and formed Exodus. The pioneering Thrash band later supported Metallica and in 1983 he was invited to join the group. It wasn't long before Hammett had made a name for himself in the Guitar community via his incendiary scalar lines in solos such as Fade To Black from 1984's Ride The Lightning. Two years later, in 1986, the band released what many believe to be their Magnum Opus, Master Of Puppets.
In 1987, Hammett began a long and fruitful association with ESP Guitars. With his signature Guitar in hand, Hammett laid down some of his scariest lines to date on Metallica's 1988 release, And Justice For All. But it was the band's 1991 Self Titled release that enshrined Metallica as the REIGNING KINGS OF METAL. Ironically, while the band finally achieved mass commercial success, Hammett's blusier, wah-drenched soloing approach saw his stock drop among some in the guitar community. But his 2007 endorsement deal with Randall amplifiers and ESP's limited-run 20th anniversary Kirk Hammett model Guitar proves that HE MAINTAINS HIS RELEVANCY, while Metallica's 2008 album, Death Magnetic, was largely hailed as a return to form."
FACTS and HISTORY don't lie. Metallica are the greatest Metal band in the world. Kirk isn't the greatest Guitarist (compare him with Vai or Batio, Petrucci or Randy Rhodes) in the world, however is still an Amazing guitarist never the less.
