Ok, I've recommended the Mesa Boogie Express with practically no knowledge at all.. (I got it) And you said it was really bad right? Is it like... horrible compared to the other Mesas or just not much of a big deal?

I'm just asking you this because you seem to know what you're talking about. Thanks for your time

Cool, thanks:D

I really like the setup, but right now my Warp X is more the sound I'm going for and the rack hasn't been used since the week I got my MP-1 and Warp X. Plus, I quit my job this weekend, I need the cash, but not at the cost of endless verbal abuse by the stupid manager every week.

Give it all to me for free, and when you decide you want it back, I'll return it :D

Dude, wtf? Why are you selling the rack setup?

Nah dude I appreciate the honesty. I'll do my best to remember to pm you when I upload the song...but you might want to just subscribe to the mp3s so it won't matter if I forget

Cool, will do!

Wish I was still in a band, I had an awesome one for like a month and then everyone kept getting busy and the drummer skipped out on us (eventhough I was able to practice whenever...), and really he was the best part of the band hahaha.

Its always the drummer or bassist:D Playing in a band is awesome...should really get back into it! Playing solo can be cool too though, record guitar and bass...program some drums in easy drummer and you can create some really cool stuff.

Thanks for listening and commenting! I agree with you...and fortunately we have a new singer. He redid the vocals on premonition, I'll upload it as soon as I get it back from mixing and mastering.
Oh, cool man, can't wait to take a listen.

And sorry if I came off as a little harsh on that comment

Really dig the songs but the vocals need to be higher pitched imo.

How they are right now sound like a bad imitation of Dethklok. Your vocalist's voice sounds like he's just relying on a bunch of flem in the back of his throat to get that low, and you can hear the hissing of it. It needs to be raspier if it's going to be that low.

The higher background screams don't sound too bad though, that's about the range I think it should be at for most of the parts.

Haha, it's basically the same voicing as my UltraXL, just a little less saturated and more vintage voiced.

The SL+ is like a Splawn Quickrod whereas the UltraXL is like a Splawn Nitro

Both of which are pretty slick amps. heh. I find it pretty interesting how I'd never really heard of splawn before I started hanging around UG and on GG&A talk of them is all over the place. Sure are some really nice amps though. If I get sick of my traynor again, I may look into them. The gear chase never ends. :P

You need to personalize that white SG (body style not sure if it is one) its on like your last page of gear. That thing would be sweet in like a nice emerald green. just a suggestion.

Btw Your classic jam rocks.

Haha yeah, when I first started playing, I was heavy into theory and it just kept getting boring to me, so I never really progressed cause I was too caught up in the theory of it all. Then I just started writing what sounded good to me and now I couldn't even tell you what key I'm playing in LOL.

same here man..hahaha. when i first started taking lessons and all i got tired of learning "marry had a little lamb" and all the theory stuff, and scales and stuff. so after i while i just gave up on the lessons and started playing some Ramones tunes, cause it easy then, and the rest is history. im like you man, i'll play a chord and really have no idea what chord it is or key, i still cant read music, but maybe one day i will...haha

Around 6 years or so but only yhepast few years actually seriously.

nice dude. i have been playing since i was a kid. i was really serious about from about 12-17, and started back into it when i turned 19. its funny how for those 2 years that i really didnt play much i lost a lot of my guitar skills. i was a better guitarist then, then i am now..haha.

Yeah, I really like the Lopo cab, it has a removable front grille for recording which is AWESOME, it's also pretty light-weight and a bit smaller than your typical 2x12 length-wise, which makes it a bit tighter and easier to store/carry around. I actually think it weighs less than my Ampeg head haha.

haha nice nice, hows the low end on it?
