Hey Martin - how are you? Heard anything about when C3 is likely to resurface?

Anyway, correct me if I’m wrong, but I recall you once mentioned something about a music grant somewhere so I’m assuming you’re in music college. I was just wondering, as I’m trying to research my possible options beyond A-Levels, what sort of qualifications are needed and what you get up to from day to day.

As I understand most places ask for at least Grade 5 Theory (which I’m taking lessons for) and Grade 8 playing? Is that far off?

Don’t go to any trouble if you’re busy, which I’m sure you are. Music college is really just an unlikely alternative for me as I’m probably heading toward an English course. But I figure it can’t hurt to get some info from someone in a music course!

Here's a review of the Laney LV by some Asian guy. Just wait for him to play, its about the best sound clips I can find of it. His style isnt very flattering of the drive channels though...

Thank you for posting probably the most thougth out and comprehensive comments. It kills me to say I have already played (and didn't like,Sorry man)most of these guitars. Still I'll try the rest. Quality seems fine, they just didn't "feel" like I'm used to a guitar "feeling". I'm NOT saying there"bad" just too different for ME.(If I altered that much I might as well built from scratch!) Recommend to others though I'm just strange!!
