Sound is pretty good but the feel of those two pedals... Just meh. But they are OK if you just want to practice. Still they don't have the touch of a real kick/hihat pedal. But really same goes with everything on these drums. Nothing beats real acoustic drums (though my parents would bitch if I had real drums, they would think the drums are too loud - I have my guitar amp volume at 1 and they bitch about how loud it is 
).
