I'm Max. My first memory was hearing 'Beast of Burden' by the Rolling Stones. They are my favorite band in the world. Nothing shaped me as much as Keith Richards did. He introduced me to music. And being awesome.
When I was around 10 years old, I discovered bands like GNR and Metallica and loved them immediately. Since then my taste for metal has become heavier and heavier (Panzer Division Marduk is among my favorite albums).
And, don't forget, Jazz. There are days when all I listen to is jazz. I especially like the older musicians such as Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Lester Young, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Jim Hall, Joe Pass, Art Blakey, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, the list goes on
I also enjoy newer jazz artists such as Mike Stern and Brad Mehldau
