If you think she's hot now, you've gotta see her when i finish customizing it...

New pickups, change on some details, perform a proper setup...
I think it'll be completely finished around Winter 2009.

Right now, all my money is going for a new amplifier!

Woooow... that is a NICE guitar.
It looks a little like mine... but mine is a plain black Stratocaster lol.

I thought that most squires were more starter guitars. Is the affinity line a better quality model, or something? I'm just curious as to why you're giving this one so much attention.

Well, this particular one is especially good.

A couple of months ago i took it to a store for a professional setup.
When i was talking to the guitar tech (a renowned portuguese guitar player, btw), and i mentioned a future pickup change, he advised me NOT to do it, and said my particular guitar is as good as any Fender.
Then he picked up a Fender American Deluxe Strat, connected both Strats to a couple of Fender '57 Twin-Amps, and showed me that the quality of the sound was the same, just the tone was different (mine was a bit treblier).
He said i was extremely lucky in getting the one i did, because it is one of a kind: great sound, flawless construction...

Even the setup he performed was minimal, he was amazed how i had the guitar with the factory setup for 3 years and it almost didn't need new adjustments.
