ali.guitarkid7 wrote on Apr 18th, 2011 3:03pmI HONESTLY wasn't trying to make anyone do anything, everyone who posts here in the pit is a person and can do what they want. No one had to watch the video. It was there for people who are interested. And certainly no one had to come in and flame at me for being vegan...
Critique? Healthy discussion? Bullshit...
Everyone was basically saying "Fuck you you're a vegan", my friends AND my family AND everyone in the pit laughed at me and mocked me for my choice...and it doesn't feel good to have absolutely ZERO fucking support from ANYONE...
Thanks for watching the video, I didn't want anyone to turn into a Vegan, just wanted them to be aware of what they're really eating, and how these animals are being tortured.
It's fine if your views are unchanged, but admit it, at least you now know a little more about animals, people and vegans. You watched it, you were open minded and I appreciate it. quote |

Your mind must be like Play-Doh, if you are so easily brainwashed...
One second you're a normal, meat-eating person.
The next second you turn into a vegetarian nazi, who blindly tries to feed his [recently acquired] beliefs to everyone else, without being able to handle critique or even having a simple, healthy discussion.
FYI, since i was on my lunch break and had nothing better to do, i watched the whole 5 parts of the video. I just fast-forwarded a little bit some parts that were absolutely boring.
I ate a lamb chop and cheese sandwich while watching the speech, and not only it didn't make me enjoy the sandwich any less, i can tell you that my views about the subject haven't changed one bit. |
My mind isn't like play doh, and everyone I know will tell you I'm not easily convinced to do something. (At all)
I can't write much so I'll reply in two parts (sorry)

I dunno if you like Brutal death in any way, but this band is pretty special and you'll hear why ;D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2EbqLtaB6Q quote |

But yeah, I was more into the novel actually, never got a chance to see the movie haha. *Thank you Hunter Thompson!*
I saw the movie back in 2004, and i liked it very much.
Since over the years i watched the movie a couple more times, i became a huge fan, and earlier this year i bought the book.
Fortunately, i found one of the original english paperback editions with Ralph Steadman's illustrations.
I already read it and loved it!
It's amazing how faithful to the book the movie is.
Still, i liked the book even more than i liked the movie (and i LOVED the movie, so... ). |
This just makes me want to see the movie even more! Haha, the book was genius enough, I just wanna see the movie interpretation. Was there any changes in the movie? Every time I see a book turned into a movie, they always have to change things. Usually ruins it

Hi, John! Thanks for the add!
But my signature says "Too WEIRD to live, too rare to die", and it's from the movie "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas".
Can't say that i'm an A7X fan... |

It was a lucky shot to have found our band's drummer.
He's a 16-year-old, really cool guy. Willing to play anything we tell him to.
Have you tried putting up ads at local instrument stores, bars, youth centers, etc.? |
Well that's our next move. I hoped We'll find someone we know to play but...
Do you preform somewhere?
