The intro is cool, the tone you've used pretty cool too. Is that guitar with lots of effects or synths?
Some of the parts once the second melody is added in sounds incredibly dissonant though, and the drum sounds can be a bit distracting.
The part at 2:40 ish sounds really trance like.
I think the biggest criticism is that it's lacking in dynamics - its all at roughly the same volume and tempo throughout, which gets boring, perhaps removing instruments and playing a single melody before a buildup with multiple instruments for a more 'epic' forte part? It's just lacking in variation for a long piece, perhaps cutting out a few repeats and have it at perhaps 3 minutes tops and it would be fine. quote |
