thats why i stay away from The Pit....its WAY to "polictical" there and to many rules. i ve been warned a good number of times for speaking my mind...but i guess "freedom of speech" on here doesnt exist.
...well what happened was this, I was reading some reviews, one on a paticular piece of gear, that I just happened to own. Now I'm not too happy with said piece of gear, so I decided to leave a comment as to how I felt about that piece of gear. All I said was, (and here's the line that got me in "quote/unquote", trouble).... I think the amp is "PURE GARBAGE".
I still don't understand as to why I recieved a "warning", and a 30 day "you better behave thing, OR ELSE". But if someone else out there can explain it to me (OTHER than the moderator who gave me the "warning"), I would greatly appericiate the input, so I don't repeat the same mistake again.
Why should anything be different here,we cant say shit about anything in the real world without being labled some kind of (phobe or ist) so we have to humbly keep our mouths shut & take all the shit thats thrown at us....yeah,fuck that bro,dont let anyone silence you!
sounds like you may have offended the moderator or the product manufacturer,he may own or have high regaurds for the piece of equiptment.he may be sensitive,send him a sympathy card.speak your mind freely,but choose your words carefully.i agree the warning was not necessary,but they do make the guide lines.
I chequed that moderator's profile, He does not own that piece of gear, nor any other by that name brand. the only thing I can figure is this, that kid just recently became a moderator, i think he just wanted to "flex his ego".
you could be right,he could have been the "hall monitor" in school (wow) and now looking to "flex his muscle of authority".alot of people in this world get a "position" and get the idea that everyone has to kiss thier butt.unfortunately they never look in the mirror to figure out what a jerk they are,and normally need thier mommy to explain it to them! "not up to my standards" may have been a better choice of wording than "pure garbage".speak your mind freely,you have the right!
the rule is the rule, we normaly must not say anything that could be interpreted like a curse. and some mods are more moderated than others, in fact it is a matter of style, some ironical offences spoken with "kind words" can even hurt more than a curse... thats a problem, is there a rule against irony ?

Well they say you shouldnt TRASH(get?GARBAGE) other peoples hard work, unless if they did a bad job.Like its ok to trash your friends and all, because mods will think you're just joking around!
