Is it just me or are people retarded? I've seen a lot of tabs for songs that are tuned to B but it also says 2.5 steps down. Would that not make it B#? 2 steps is C and another half step is Cb/B# am I wrong or are people just insane? So which is it the songs are in? B or B#? There's not a HUGE difference but I'm sure when you're playing along, it might sound a bit off. People need to get their facts straight. Tabs should be rejected if the tuning conflicts itself like that. I wish the people who approve tabs would pay more attention. I've had tabs rejected for reasons beyond me but these morons get theirs through? Such a twisted world.
Alright so now we have cool profiles and blogs. Wooh. Let's just not turn into some shitty social networking site. Anyway, is it just me or do you people break a lot of strings too? Should I be breaking them after only a month or two of usage? I play daily but not for very long. Usually an hour or so. My buddy seems to think it might be because I use such a heavy gauge (12-56) and only tuning (my ESP) to D standard and Drop C.
I'm not too sure what to make of it but I wish they wouldn't break so much. It doesn't exactly make sense. I went to a heavier gauge because I was breaking 10s and 11s even more. Ive been thinking of going back to 11s and maybe being a little easier on them. Half the time it's my own fault anyway for pulling the whammy bar too high or bending too much. They seem to wear down pretty easy. I've thought of using bass strings but that'd sound horrible. Anybody got any ideas?
