TBH, my main areas of interest include 80's Heavy rock, hair metal, Punk, some thrash, NWOBHM, pop-punk, blues, Latin, some power-pop (when I'm on down moods I seem to find Avril kinda comforting, don't ask me why) - TBH, I'll give anything a first listen.

Favorite movies :
Favourite styles are action (like lethal Weapon), comedy of most styles, thrillers, and Mind-fuck oriented Horror (e.g. The Shining). I don't mind sitting through romances so long as the script's decent, and Gore-fest horror films hold as much interest to me as a Celine Dion cover of an AC/DC number. Nice lil film to hunt down is Serenity.
North Yorkshire chap, more interested with guitar-driven music of the 70's & 80's rather than modern times (with a few exceptions). Currently in the maze that is Music Journalism N' Broadcasting at university in Stoke. Been playing for about 6 years, & I'm not as good as people would expect, but I'm good enough for what I've needed to do so far (2 words: Ramones Covers) - am working on Lead technique, song-writing and Speed right now. As a player, my style is a sort of 'Blues-Punk' feel - My initial style was influenced by my blues teacher and Punk bands, but now I'm taking on from Mick Mars, Slash and Synyster gates (What?). Will be starting a heavy rock band in Stoke soon - keep yer ears peeled . Always believed music & all this should be about entertainment first of all - This ain't the place for political agendas.

Very dim view of politics & spin. Also, don't try & convert me to playing Ibanez's or ESP's religiously and we'll get on just fine. I like the Gibson styles, and WILL be owning a nice V one day. Till then, the SG will do me fine...
Music aside, My other interests include me stage-work (obviously), and I'm also a bit of a petrol-head, F1 in particular.
