New Release Soon! (Shameless Self-Advertising - Oh

Hey all,

Though I realize that most people honestly couldn't care less, I figured I'd write a blog considering the release of my band's first EP. Originally, we wanted to release a full LP, but after talking with our producers, we figured (for marketing and financial reasons) that it'd be more advantageous for us to first release a 5-song EP under our name.

That was in September.

Fast forward to about a week and a half ago, and we get to the first mix. It blew all four of us away. We knew generally what stuff was going to sound like in the studio, but we were tracking with 95% dry tracks that hadn't been really mixed beyond just being able to hear everything.

Production notes have been sent back to the mixing engineer/producer working with us right now and we're expecting mix two to reach us in a few days. When we finally get a studio mix we're 100% happy about, we'll be sending it off to mastering to add the final touch to our work.

Album art and printing arrangements are being discussed and the logistics for the CD release are underway. The Master should be completed within a few weeks and I'll be streaming some samples and possibly entire songs closer to the release time.

Be on the lookout for YouTube videos and teasers for the final release.

Cheers ,

Patrick

Still got my eye on ya, do I get an autographed copy for being a first customer? :haha:

:haha: Sorry to disappoint, but you're not even close to first customer (as arrogant and assholish as it sounds saying that). The only problem is if you buy a hard copy rather than a digital download, all the CD prints are shrink-wrapped. It might hurt the collector's value of this fine piece of work. :p: I suppose if you really wanted to though...
