I was never one for blogging, and I've never written one before. But I guess a guitar website is the best place to write one.
My name is Andre. I am half Indonesian, quarter Italian, quarter German. I am from the new generation of metalheads in the Bay Area. I am sarcastic. I hate people.
I am the son of the owner of Ming Sound, an Indonesia-based sound engineering/sound equipment rental group. I work part-time at the infamous Subway Guitars. I am the student of Lee Altus of Exodus/Heathen fame and Chris Powell of Otis Goodnight/Mordred fame. I am friends with Taj Mahal and Joe Louis Walker. I have met many more famous musicians. I have been in many bands in the past years and have jammed in many more.
I have been a smoker since the age of 12. I still smoke Sampoerna mild cigarettes and smoke hookah frequently. I used to smoke marijuana but I stopped as of 2008. I used to take and sell drugs frequently, but never touched crack or meth. I go to raves now and then. I was an alcoholic from 2005-2007. I have not touched a bottle of hard liquor since my liver gave out at the end of that time. I was close to becoming a father once. Why she wanted it I don't know, I can't imagine why anyone would want a dope-dealing shit musician barely-passing high school student as a father. It was probably just because she was more fucking insane than I was.
Someday I hope to learn music theory and go to University of Hawaii at Manoa.
I wonder if anyone will ever read this or beyond that even care. I wonder if I even care.
