So, I work at a guitar shop. I've decided to systematically start reviewing all the guitars we have in-store, and if I can, try to order some other models that you guys would like to get an opinion on by someone who doesn't own it, and by default thinks it's the greatest thing ever simply because it's theirs. If you'd like a specific model or series reviewed, just reply below. Here's what we carry:
Guitar Companies: Taylor Martin Gibson/Epiphone Takamine Ovation Fender Cordoba Schecter Dean Yamaha Peavey
Amplifier Companies: Fender Peavey Marshall Bogner Vox Line 6 Roland Ashdown Ampeg Hartke
Keyboard/Synth/MIDI Companies: Yamaha Roland Korg
PA's/Subwoofers: Peavey Berhinger JBL
Pedal Companies: Boss Dan Electro Dunlop / MXR Vox HAO Heavy Electronics Line 6 Multieffects
If you can get review of the Schecter Tempest Standard done, I'd be very gratelful. Would be interesting to hear what you think of it. I happenn to think it plays wonderfully but it would be improved with some slightly better pickups. It's tone is brilliant, but it sounds like it struggles when used with slightly higher amounts of gain.
Hey, I was just wondering if you could do a review of a Hartke bass amplifier called LH500. My brother would be really interested.
Myself, if you guys have the Dean V79 at the store (I think they're discontinued) I'd be thrilled to get a read of that. Thinking of getting another guitar for more down-tuned stuff.
