The night has come to visit and the rain is falling in

When I complained to him about my broken heart
But somehow he didn’t answer, when I told him how it was
He just seemed to disappear and then was gone
And my bloody letters that I keep, hidden in sink
I could throw them away and they’d return

And the waves just won’t stop when told to move
I followed little Mary through the slumbering hood
And I opened up her door and let her in
But she never came back down, she must have fled or died alone
For I was waiting for her return down on the street
She’s stuck in the white palace once again

An illusion of yourself feeling bad

Bloody murder and tied hands gone
