I cannot for the life of me remember if I answered you before, so I'll answer now. I took a piece of common sheet metal, cut it out with tin snips and took a grinder to it. At least in its simplest form that's what I did. It was a bit more work than it sounds like. Cutting it was a bitch, and it took a bit of practice to get the grinder to give me the type of swirls I wanted. It is definitely worth it though

yea, the quality is terrible and the volume is really low too. When I converted the files into Mp3s I boosted the volume a much as I could and its still too quiet |

yeh once you do you will get clearer recordings and these riffs will really come to life. they are kinda hard to hear
