tands wrote on Sep 28th, 2009 7:33pmhard to say what we will be making, im into alot of blues rock (hendrix, floyd, zepp, whitestrips) but the drummer is into a whole lot of tool and what not. Were just aiming to have an orgional sound based around a live analog sound type thing for now, so whatever you bring to the table will obviously have an effect on it quote |

do you have some useful information to add to the conversation? then post.
but asking when a build is going to be updated is better done through PM.
subscribers to the thread get irritated when they find it was just a bump.
and it takes space on the first page of the index, until it sinks.
balance, man. you'll find it. quote |

stratomaster15 wrote on Mar 17th, 2009 8:25pmHey man, thanks for the reply about the Rebel. It sounds really good to me, and sounds like it will work for what I do. I'm going to try it out at my local GC very soon. Which cab should I get for it, the Egnater one or a different one? And 1X12, 2X12, 4X12, ect? Thanks so much!! quote |

Craigslist is not an option :haha |
oh that blows. I know how hard it is to find them in guitar shops too- I have only seen one around here in the last 5 years.

Awww good...Yeah I am definitely addicted...I know! the lefties are incredibly rare...you can find them on Ebay once in a while but then of course they always get a ton of bids. Have you tried Craigslist?

The reverse bridge is an option you can get on pickguards from warmoth. I went with it to reduce the treble bite on the neck. Works good for me. quote |
AcousticLesPaul wrote on Jan 18th, 2009 3:37amYup! I don't have it right now, though. Oregon had a really bad snow storm, followed by heavy rain. The snow melt combined with rain flooded my best friends practice space and music room... He lost most of his gear, his effects, his amps... I'm lending him my Egnater until he can get some more gear for himself!
Where do you have your tube mix at usually? quote |

But, basically, my Sonex 180 was my uncle's. He bought it back in 1985 or so.
The guitar always played well, and was just an overall good value. Well, one day he took it out of the case and there was a MASSIVE crack down the middle of the guitar, and was basically breaking in half.
So he decided that, instead of selling it, he would just rebuild it. And, amazingly, since he had no prior guitar building knowledge, and relying totally on just measurements from the original body, he built it properly, and has it properly intonanted, etc. from the start.
At the moment, though, there's some problems with the bridge and the neck (slightly), but it's still a great guitar. =] quote |

lol. yeah, just looking for people who are into the same kind of music that i am. i see you're into Kid rock. my dad's seen him in Detroit a couple of times. once when Peter Frampton was opening for him. i might get to see him sometime, if he remembers to get enough Tix! |
Haha. I would love to see him live. That'd be awesome. I'm gonna go to the Papa Roach/Breaking Benjamin/Staind concert in november. My friends are taking me to it for my birthday. I'm so excited!! They told me that they are trying to get front row seats if not backstage passes. Haha. I love how my friends tell me what they are getting for my birthday, and I know how much it costs.
