About Jet Penguin
Musician in his 20s in the process of absorbing as much information as possible in order to further his craft.
I've been in a ton of bands, done session work, and currently split most of my time between practicing (that includes writing), finishing up school, and my teaching/playing career.
I don't really believe in genre, and constantly push myself to absorb from all genres and styles in the hopes that my own personal style will be "no style" (thanks Bruce Lee) and free of cliches or genre conventions. Genre is just a label, and we should just focus on playing music instead of a style. Pretentious rant over.
