Favorite bands :
Far too many to list. I have rather eclectic tastes in music, but lean toward rock and blues more than any other. Opera, Polka, Rap and Thrash Metal all bore me to sleep within two minutes, but I listen to about anything else.
Favorite guitarists :
Too many to list. I'd have to say that Leslie West, Billy Gibbons, Eric Clapton and Dickie Betts probably influenced my own playing the most... and various blues artists. I like the simpler phrasing and phat licks that just have balls and kick to them. Clapton and West could both say more with simple licks than all the speed demons in the world.
Favorite tv :
COPS and Forensic Files and similar shows... I'm entertained by the misfortune of others when they demonstrate such a high level of stupidity. There's nothing funnier than a wannabe gangsta tough guy whose pants fall down when he's arrested, and cries like a little schoolgirl when he's cuffed and stuffed.
Favorite movies :
Both of the Blues Brothers movies... how can you go wrong with a movie that has blues music in it, and a buttload of great artists?

I do a little live sound reinforcement, DJ/music service and web design... some guitar tech work... even a little custom carpentry on occasion. Lots of interests and stuff I do at the hobby level. Keeps my old ass busy and out of trouble.
