I listen to Indie and a sort of rock that most people probably wouldn't consider rock but whatever. I am a self taught guitarist. Which, kids, is probably a horrible idea. I've been playing for 7 years without lessons and I know people who did lessons for 3 and are as good. You develop a unique style though. I also hate the blues and really not any rock from before the 90's pretty much. I know, contraversial.
