Well, it's my senior year, so I decided to play basketball for the first time ever. I suck at it. I'm on the JV team, but I was expecting that. It's pretty frustrating because I don't know any of the plays or techniques. But, it's only been a week, so I have some time to improve. We scrimmaged the Middle school team yesterday- it was pretty sad. We ended up close to tied (nobody was keeping score) but we should have anhillated them. Oh well.
This sucks. Friday was the last time I will ever play organized, team football. It was our last game, and we lost, 34-14. It also kinda sucked because I could've had about 4 interceptions and a reception, but I dropped them. I have to turn my gear in today. It's really depressing because unless I suddenly get really good and gain about 20-30 pounds (I'm only about 147) so I can play for a college or regional semipro team, I'm screwed. Especially since if we had had our coach from the last 2 years we could probably have won most of our games this year, but because our new coach is retarded, we ended up 1-4 with a couple of forfeits.
OK, so I;m building a guitar for my senior project, but I need help choosing a design! I've uploaded several of my ideas here. Tell me which one you like best!!! If you have any other suggestions, feel free to say so too...
My football coach has no Idea what he's doing! Seriously! He was supposed to just be the assistant coach, but then the head coach got cancer, and so he had to be head coach. the only problem is, ans he said it himself- "I learned everything I know about coaching from the internet in about 2 weeks". Then, he takes everything we (the seniors and other experienced players) say the wrong way. For example, yeaterday we had the game film from this weekend, and so we watched that. but the coach just said we were "pissing away our time" when we need to see the film to see what to improve on! Then, only 8 people suited up (the rest were still sore from saturday or went home, or just didn't show), and so I just led everyone through the warm ups and I was kinda joking around, so we had to run laps, and then we went to do some blocking drill that made no sense, and I was doing EXACTLY what the coach said, but the person I was going against has bruised ribs, so he wasn't really trying, and the the coach got pissed and called practice because we were rebelling against him and not doing what he asked, even though we weren't. Basically, that's most of the reason why my team sucks. Oh yeah, and then he gets mad at me because Im the captain so i should be leading everyone and making them do stuff, but that's not the case. And then, I feel stupid 'cause I went in the locker room and punched a locker with my helmet and it bounced back and hit me in the lip so now I have a hole all the way through my bottom lip! needless to say, I'm pretty mad at the coach...
I was just thinking- what would happen if all of a sudden there was no music?
I'm pretty sure I would shrivel up and die. Or go crazy and kill myself. Seriously. I can barely make it through the day at school! (Mp3/ musicplayrs aren't allowed). As soon as I get home, I go upstairs to my room and turn on the music. One time my parents punished my bytaking away my stereo and my guitar for a day. It was insane! I almost didn't make it! Anyway, howdo you feel about it?
Hey all, I need some help. I need to do a senior project in order to graduate. It entitles doing a 10-15 page paper and a 20 minute presentation. The only problem is, I have no idea what to do. I thought about building a guitar, but it's pretty expensive. then I thought about recording a CD, but I am positive there's no way I could meet the requirements. I've been thinking about doing something to do with World War II aviation, since that's another one of my interests, and I could also build a couple models to use as visual aids (modeling is my other hobby). However, I really want to do something with music, since that's my primary interest. Anyone have any other ideas?
Well, I'm in my 6th period class right now. pretty soon school will be out and then I will go to football practice. After that I'll probly go home and play guitar or listen to music. then I'll eat dinner, and then I'll just do whatever.Pretty much my average day. Yippee
