What's up? My name's Jake, and I LOVE to play guitar. I've been playing guitar for almost 2 1/2 years now, and I have improved a lot.
What influenced me to pick up guitar is my grandpa. He would always tell me that he wanted me to play guitar, but I never really wanted to. But when he died, I felt really bad, and regret ever saying that i don't like playing guitar. So I started to play, and play, and play until I gotten better.
I own a few guitars: Fender stratocaster, Jackson Kelly, Some generic strat(it was my first one, so don't hate=P), and a Virgin acoustic.
As of right now I have a little 15 watt line 6 spider amplifier. It may be small, but it's all I need. Sooner or later I'll get a stack.
I ussually tab songs out by ear, but if something doesn't sound right, I go on here and check, even though most of the tabs on here aren't 100% correct.
I listen to a lot of different genre's of music, But mostly Metal, Progessive death metal, Metalcore, Hardcore, Deathcore, alternative rock, Hard rock, and some speed metal.
I will have original song's up on here in a bit, their not going to sound great, but it will give you a little taste of how far my playing can go.
