I haven't had the pleasure of playing with the EJ custom yet. To throw another suggestion at you, I recently got to play with the Billy Corgan signature single coil and it is pretty bad ass. Very much like the tone zone but better.

Do you think the EJ might be worth getting? I was gonna have my middle tone knob wired to my bridge instead, and I do love EJ so maybe this is what I'm looking for.

But I'll look at the BC pickups perhaps. They look interesting from what I've seen. I kinda like the normal looking pickups with the magnets showing... not the rails type. I know it's really nothing at all, and I suppose it's not a big deal.

awesome when you put them in let me know how you like them and which ones you used

I'm fairly certain it's gonna be the HS-2 in the middle, YJM in neck, and HS-3 in bridge... but I also saw the DP211 EJ custom bridge, and albeit being a 'bucker, it looks cool. Any knowledge on that one? If not, I'll play it safe 'n' stick with HS-3.

both are great. The screamin' demon will be a little hotter though.

Lol, I'm a noob anyhow. I still might stick with DiMarzio. If you're wondering why I still haven't decided/put them in, it's cause I am poor. It will be soon though... very soon.

Hey man, which is a really good stacked single coil from SD?

SD JB Jr. or Lil Screamin' Demon?

I really need something crazy good, and I am thinking the Screamin' Demon... I dunno, though, any ideas? I still need to decide, and it's so hard.

Well, I'm going to take your advice. '59 seems like a good choice. I had heard bad reviews about both Rails, anyhow, but I wasn't sure whether or not to follow that review, seeing as they were on Musician's Friend and Harmony Central - I make it a point to get more opinions because frankly everyone who reviews on those sites are full of it.

So how're things? Things are good, I trust?

Hey, I checked your pickup blog and you say you've used the SD Little '59.

Think that would suit me? I was thinking about SD for the bridge now, and was suggested this. Or the Cool Rails. Dunno. Sorry for being a pest. :p:

Argh but it looks funky... I guess aesthetics aren't everything... but it is still DiMarzio so I'm sure most of their pickups work well with one another.

Like, I'm not looking for thrash metal or any kind of crazy shit like that... highest gain I'd think I'd need is Iron Maiden... maybe like, Blue Oyster Cult, Sabbath, stuff like that. Could the HS-3 do that, y'think? Because I am willing to look into the Super Distortion S...

Duder, that was a bad ass national coverage of your baaand! :P So awesome!

I have another question... I really don't know, but if I needed to, could the HS-3 act as a humbucker, handling high gain tones, just in case? Because I'd like to be safe rather than sorry, and maybe if it can't, you have another suggestion for the bridge? I was looking at the Tone Zone and Tone Zone S...

Hmm, yeah I saw that you were on national TV; that's pretty intense!

I will definitely check your band out - I might have to make a new MySpace to do so, but no big hassle. Coverage of you guys wouldn't be on YouTube would it?

Sounds pretty darn good for a drunken attempt!

That's like better than I play sober, so... kudos!
